| The OnLive is a "console" that has no need to buy games and hooks right up to your TV. The company also says that you are able to access their service online and be able to play high end games with just a $300 netbook. All that is needed is the hardware and an internet connection. The better the connection and reliability, the better the quality of the game. This new upcoming product could obliterate the competition if everything works as planned. http://videogames.yahoo.com/feature/new-tech-could-make-consoles-obsolete/1299562What do you guys think of this? | |

| I'd rather own physical game DVDs/Blu Ray, I'm not one for downloading games. | |

| I read 'Gaming' & natch think casinos & the only winable game Blackjack. Some states allow at 18 others 21, if while still in HS a person learned blackjack & got the software to practice Advantage Play.....much less complicated than setting up high traffic web sites, forums, etc. I bartended to help pay for extras while in college, wish I'd known about blackjack sooner! | |

| Let me explain the relevance in my twisted mind. Blackjack is a game that you can buy software versions of. You can practice & then play a Real Life game in a casino or online for money. Many people make a living playing blackjack in casinos & online. It could well be the furture of gaming - with the high cost of college, etc - that young people discover gaming can become a career, or at least pay for the extras in life. Gaming software to learn a skill that pays real money, it's out there now. It's legal, it's fun, it pays. Real life applications in gaming are being used by the military & people that want to 'play' forever, like me! Sorry if this is outside the thread, didn't mean to infuse Life where it may not be welcomed. | |
