Windows Vista or Windows XP?

Which Operating system do you like more?

I personally like windows xp.

I say this simply because i am used to it. I feel comfortable with it.

aha yeah. I just use a program called vistamizer and it gives me the look of vista.

Yeah. Or you can use the brico-pack. 8)

windows xp is a lot smoother, but vista is a lot nicer looking

i myself like Windows Vista better... i like the file system where u can quicly jump to the folders, and the look is alot nicer, and the animations are nice. Although i had windows vista on my computer, i put windows XP back on it, because some of my really old stuff doest always want to work with Vista... other than that i have never came into any issue with vista...

I personally like Vista better. As long as you have the hardware to run it, it runs fine. I'm running on 2 GB of RAM and have no problems. I've had no software problems, and all of my games are compatible; I'm a big PC gamer so that was essential.

However, when Windows 7 comes out, I'll be upgrading to that. The beta was awesome!

i use vista on my laptop and xp on my desktop. i could really care less about what OS im using just as long as it works for what im doing. i do like how vista looks and how the folders are organized a lot better then in XP

i personally would choose Vista because of the computer i have but if i had my old computer i would be all over XP

It depends which way you look at it. I would be XP based, seeing as I've barely used Vista, but I'd think Vista is better, except for the theme. (Ironically, I use Brico-pack...) But if you want better sorting, speed and not be called noob... I'd say Vista, but I'd like to use XP too.

Windows XP. I've heard to many bad things about Vista and I am use to XP.

Can you be serious, the amount of people using Windows XP is really just unacceptable, XP is also an enormus security risk to both the computer its running on and the network it is using, it lacks now vital and extremly useful features (Like the ability to properly find and connect to wireless and local networks) and it looks awful (You have got to admit), Windows Vista along with SP2 is the same as XP, but more secure, better looking, easier to use and more stable with better compatibility now its been out on the market for 3 years +, come on, is there really any excuse for still using XP, nearly a decade after it was released? You should use Windows Vista at least and Windows 7 if you are a Power User. This is what I think when I see Power users running XP:

I actually prefer Windows Vista.

Here is the thing, I had a Windows XP and then I got a new computer which was a Windows Vista, it is not hard with the transition, it took me only two days to get comfortable with it. In upgrading I had better in everything.
